Every project is a little different. The plans give you a reliable starting point; after a short chat we send a fixed quote for your exact scope, and that is the price you pay.

That is common. Pick the plan closest to what you need and add only the extras you want, on any plan. A café on Personal gets Home, About and Menu for $2,000. If your add-ons would cost more than the next plan, we point you to that plan, because it is the better deal.

Under $5,000: 50% to begin and 50% at launch. At $5,000 or more: 40% to begin, 30% when you approve the design and 30% at launch. There are no setup fees. Apps work the same way, and a website plus app bundle is one job on one schedule, with 10% off the smaller of the two builds.

One set of written change notes on the design, sent together, that we then apply. Personal and Standard include 2 rounds and Plus includes 3. An extra round is $250. Changes after you approve the design are priced before we start.

You do, and we guide you on what each page needs. Copy direction comes with every plan, and full copywriting is an add-on, from $250 a page. Need photos? We can use free-to-use stock photos that suit your site at no extra charge, or paid stock photos at cost, agreed first. Your schedule starts once we have your content.

About 2 weeks for Personal, 2 to 3 weeks for Standard and 4 to 5 weeks for Plus. It depends on how quickly we get your feedback and content, and your quote comes with a dated schedule.

On every plan, you send us your changes and we make them for you. On Plus, up to 10 content edits a month (words, photos, prices, hours, menus, team and FAQs) are included until your own editor login is ready. On other plans they're $40 each. We test each one on phones and computers before it goes live, so nothing breaks for your visitors. Your own editor login is coming soon: it's included with Plus, and you can add it to Personal or Standard. It lets you update your words, photos, prices, hours and menus, and show, hide or reorder sections, like editing a document. Bigger design changes stay with us, because a new layout or section can change how your site looks on phones or how your forms and bookings work. New sections and design changes are priced as usual, on every plan.

For websites, care is optional. Without it, edits are priced per edit, not per hour, and agreed before we start: a small edit, like a word, price or photo swap, is $40, a medium edit, like a new section or a reworked block, is $150, and large changes are quoted first. Plus sites get up to 10 small content edits a month included until their editor is ready. Care is $125 a month with Hosting included and covers up to 2 small edits a month. Care Plus is $200 a month with Hosting included and adds one design change a month, about an hour of work, like a new section, layout or seasonal refresh. Edits and design changes reset each month and do not roll over.

Sometimes. When we have room, a rush timeline is +25% of the build price, by quote and agreed before we start. We would rather say no than rush your site and do it badly.

For sites we host, yes: Hosting is $50 a month, or $500 a year paid up front (2 months free). Care and Care Plus already include it. Yearly plans are not refunded if you leave early, but your site stays up until the year ends. It covers SSL, software and security updates, daily off-site backups, uptime monitoring and a real person if anything goes wrong. Prefer your own hosting? Once the project is paid in full, we give you a full copy of your site with a step-by-step handoff guide.

Plus includes one feature: a simple online store or online booking. We connect your site to a booking or payment service in your own account, either one you already use or one we help you choose and set up. We do not build a custom checkout or calendar, and your own account handles bookings, payments and refunds. A Plus store holds up to 20 products. On Personal or Standard, either one is an add-on. Need both, more products or something bigger? That is a Custom quote.

Privacy and Terms pages are included with every site we build and never count toward your pages. Copy direction is included with every plan. Full copywriting is an add-on, from $250 a page.
