How we build
A real person, helpful tools.
A real designer designs, reviews and approves everything on your site. We use helpful modern tools, including AI-assisted software, for routine work, which keeps our pricing fair and our turnaround quick.
- A person makes every decision, and nothing goes live without your approval.
- These tools process what you send us only as our Privacy Policy explains. They are not used to view your members' or customers' data stored on your site unless you ask us to fix something that needs it.
- Your information stays private. We never sell it, and we share it only with the service providers named in our Privacy Policy.

LISB (Leading Innovative Site Builders) is a sole proprietorship in Buncombe County, North Carolina. Email: hello@lisb.org. A mailing address is available on request. In these terms, "LISB", "we" and "us" mean that business.

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

All content on this site belongs to LISB unless otherwise noted and may not be reproduced without permission. The example sites shown here (Coalbrook & Fennel Kitchen, Marrowfield Ceramics and Brinwold Pilates) are sample designs we made to show our work. They are not real clients or real businesses.

Prices and project agreements
Prices on this site are starting points. Every design, development, hosting, care or app engagement is governed by your written quote and the LISB Client Service Agreement, which you accept before any work starts. If anything on this site differs from your signed agreement, the agreement wins. That agreement also explains how either side can pause or end a project.
Project chat
The project chat is for talking about your project. Please don't send passwords, card numbers or other highly sensitive details in the chat; use the secure links we give you instead. We may limit or block chats that send spam, abuse or harmful files. Quotes and deposit links we send you are offers; your project starts when you accept the written agreement and pay the deposit. Once you are a client, you can share images in your project chat. Only send images you own or have the right to share. Images you send as references or inspiration, such as screenshots of other websites, are used only to understand what you like. We never place them on your site unless you own or license them. Our Privacy Policy explains what the chat saves, how long we keep it, and how to get a copy or have it deleted.
AI-assisted tools
We use AI-assisted tools in our work, including our AI assistant, Grok Bot (provided by SpaceXAI). It helps operate and maintain this website, helps with your project, and reads, summarizes and drafts replies to email sent to hello@lisb.org. A person at LISB reviews and approves every reply before it is sent, and the assistant does not send replies on its own. Our Privacy Policy explains what these tools process and how to ask for a person to handle your messages without the AI assistant.
Your customers' data
We maintain your site without viewing your customers' data unless you ask us to fix something that needs it. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

We're not responsible for the content of external websites we link to.
Liability
This website is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for losses arising from its use. Liability for client work is set out in the Client Service Agreement.
Governing law
These terms, and any dispute about them or this website, are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law rules. You agree that any court case will be brought in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, unless the law requires otherwise.
